Day 1 — Bahariya Oasis: Hidden Gems & Sunset Views

Our journey starts with a morning departure from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and take a short break before heading out to explore the beauty of the oasis.
- A taste of bedouin life
We’ll kick things off with lunch at a local Bedouin restaurant, enjoying delicious food and getting ready for the adventure ahead.
- Lake Al-Ma’mour – a peaceful escape
Our next stop is Lake El Ma’mour, also known as Birket El Ma’mour, where we’ll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings.
- Sand dunes & palm valley
Time to capture some beautiful shots! We’ll head toward the sand dunes and Palm Valley, where golden sands meet scattered palm trees to create a stunning desert landscape.
- Dainasour Valley & the Pyramid Mountain
We’ll continue exploring the fascinating landscapes of Bahariya, visiting the Dinosaur Valley area and the distinctive Pyramid Mountain, known as Gabal El Dist, along with the nearby El Maghrafa area.

Our journey takes us to the spectacular Agabat area, where we’ll explore rugged desert terrain, dramatic rock formations, and vast stretches of golden sand.
- The Small Valley & Karawain Dunes
We’ll venture into the Small Valley, where palm trees rise between the challenging sand dunes, before continuing toward the Karawain Dunes.
Here comes the fun part: get ready for an exciting sandboarding experience and some incredible photo opportunities!
- Al Makhroum — A Different Side of the Desert
We’ll continue toward Al Makhroum, discovering more of the Western Desert’s fascinating geological landscapes along the way.

We’ll make our way toward the remarkable Gara Cave, a natural wonder famous for its distinctive formations and fascinating interior.
We’ll spend around an hour and a half exploring the cave and capturing photos of its incredible natural features.

- Lunch & The Magic Spring
After our cave adventure, we’ll enjoy lunch before continuing to the famous Magic Spring, a natural spring surrounded by the distinctive desert scenery of the region.
- The White Desert — A Landscape Beyond Imagination
Our adventure continues into the breathtaking White Desert, one of Egypt’s most extraordinary natural destinations.
We’ll explore its surreal chalk formations, sculpted by wind and time into fascinating shapes resembling mushrooms, chickens, rabbits, horses, camels, and more.

- Camping Under the Stars — Ghawy Style!
As the sun sets, we’ll settle into our campsite in the White Desert and get ready for a magical evening in the heart of nature.

Next, we’ll visit the remarkable Crystal Mountain area, famous for its distinctive mineral formations, followed by a visit to Crystal Cave.
